Boston City's night sky lighted up with a brilliant myriad of music, color, and patriotism as the 38th Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, along with the majestic concert by the Boston Pops Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Keith Lockhart, capped off the nations's premier celebration of Independence Day on Monday, July 4, 2011 at the Charles River Esplanade in Boston, Massachusetts.

This year's event was hosted by Emmy Award winner and Boston-native Michael Chikli, best known for his roles as Commissioner Tony Scali on "The Commish", LAPD Detective Vic Mackey on "The Shield", Thing in the Fantastic Four movie series, and Jim Powell on "No Ordinary Family".
