India took home it's second World Cup title by winning 6 wickets over Sri Lanka during Saturday's ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Final held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. MS Dhoni was named man of the match; Yuvraj Singh as Man of the series.

Sri Lanka - 274/6 (50.0)
India had previously won the World Cup in 1983. The host nation now joins Australia and the West Indies as the only teams to have won the World Cup more than once.
