"So You Think You Can Dance" wrapped up Season 7 on Thursday night in a two-hour live finale, with 18-year-old contemporary jazz dancer Lauren Froderman edging out Kent Boyd for the top spot. Robert Roldan finished third.


So You Think You Can Dance Season 7 Winners

Champion – Lauren Froderman of Phoenix, AZ
2nd place – Kent Boyd of Wapakoneta, OH
3rd place – Robert Roldan of Thousand Oaks, CA
    Frodeman is only the third female to win the TV dance competition. Winning the meaningless moniker "America's Favorite Dancer," Froderman also won $250,000 and a photo spread in Dance Spirit magazine.

    Performers included dance crew Quest, the Manzari Brothers, and musical group Black Gold among others. Ellen Degeneres made a guest appearance dancing with tWitch. Judges were Nigel Lythgoe, Kenny Ortega, Mia Michaels, Adam Shankman, Tyce Diorio, Stacey Tookey, and Mary Murphy.
