Saturday night's heavyweight bout between Evander Holyfield and Sherman Williams ended in a three-round no-contest.  Holyfield got a cut above the left eye by an accidental head butt in the second round and before the fourth round could start, the fight was stopped with Holyfield retaining his World Boxing Federation heavyweight championship belt.

The hard-hitting Williams stunned 48-year-old Holyfield with a series of blows in the third round, but after the bell Holyfield told the referee he could not see and the bout was ruled a no-contest.
