In celebration of America's 234th birthday, more than 40,000 pyrotechnic shells were fired over the Hudson River during the 34th Annual Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular on Sunday, July 4, 2010.

'American Harmony', the theme of this year's pyrotechnic event, showcased America's vast music history. Music from the New York Pops Orchestra, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Straight No Chaser, Broadway Inspirational Voices, U.S. Army Soldier's Chorus and United We Sing were performed in sync with the 26-minute fireworks display from the six barges on the Hudson River positioned between 24th and 50th Streets.

Live aboard the Norwegian EPIC cruise liner was teen singing sensation Justin Bieber, along with Enrique Iglesias and LeAnn Rimes. Some of the star-casts of the "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" also made it to the deck.
