American tennis player John Isner(23) defeated qualifier Nicolas Mahut of France 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 (7-9), 7-6 (7-3), 70-68 in the Gentlemen's Singles - 1st Round Match on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Court 18.
The match had been suspended on Tuesday night because of fading light after the fourth set. Wednesday's longest match in tennis history (10 hours, 163 games) was suspended at 59-59 due to darkness.
It took a record of 11 hours and 5 minutes spread over three days to broke this historic match.
