German singer-songwriter Lena Meyer-Landrut won the 55th Annual Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday, May 29, 2010, held at the Telenor Arena in Bærum, Norway.
Lena sang "Satellite", written by award winning American songwriter Julie Frost and Denmark's John Gordon.
Thirty-nine countries participated on Saturday's competition, including Georgia, which returned to the contest after its withdrawal in 2009 after the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) rejected its entry "We Don't Wanna Put In" due to political references.
