British auto racing driver Dario Franchitti won his second Indianapolis 500 race on Sunday, May 30, 2010. Dan Wheldon came in second, followed by Marco Andretti in third. Swiss race car driver Simona de Silvestro was awarded Rookie of the Year.
Franchitti is the husband of Hollywood actress Ashley Judd. Judd, who was seen reading some book (or movie script?) as the Indianapolis 500 Race progressed, reportedly jumped up and ran barefoot down pit lane to hug Franchitti.
